On Day 2 of the inauguration and training of Atlantic Humpback Dolphin Guardians at the Biodiversity Preservation Center in Uyo, trainees were tasked with introducing themselves and familiarizing themselves with each other as teammates.
They received a series of lectures from Prof. Edem Eniang, Dr. Uzoama Ejimadu, Prof. Richard King, Dr. Emem Inyang and Prof. Mfon Udo on the conservation of Nigeria’s marine wildlife, as well as a list of endangered species in Nigeria.
After the lectures, the trainees were given a 30-minute break to refresh themselves and prepare for the next sessions. It was a productive session, with everyone actively engaged and impacted by the discussions. The day concluded with group photographs and a tour of the BPC wildlife sanctuary to commemorate the occasion.
